Audrey Durr will present "Rain Barrels and Water Efficiency." You'll learn about ways to increase water efficiency inside and outside the home and you'll take home a rain barrel. To promote water conservation and water quality protection, the Cirtus County Department of Water Resources is paying part of the cost of the barrels.

This class is $13.00; the cost includes a pre-drilled barrel, a spigot and an overflow attachment. Class size is limited and pre-registration is required. Registration begins October 7th. Checks or money orders only (no cash). Check should be made payable to Citrus County BOCC; no refunds.

Use the water for your potted plants, vegetable and herb gardens, special plant collections, etc. Workshop provides set-up instructions and a reference booklet is included.
