Mission Statement

The Nutrient Remediation Workgroup is an organization composed of citizens, industry and government representatives. The primary goal of the Workgroup is to address impacts to Central Florida’s springs and drinking water sources caused by increasing nutrient levels in ground and surface waters. To achieve this goal, the Workgroup engages in public education and the exchange and dissemination of information on research, education and regulatory remediation and prevention measures with other organizations addressing similar problems throughout the State of Florida.
