The Water Conservation Hotel and Motel Program (Water CHAMP) helps hotels and motels save water and money while practicing more efficient housekeeping and landscaping.
Save water for Florida’s future
This free education program helps hotels and motels save water for Florida’s future in ways that save money. Part of the program involves a linen and towel reuse program that launders bed linens and towels every third day of a guest’s stay, unless requested otherwise by guests.

This program is funded by the District’s Alafia River, Coastal Rivers, Hillsborough River, Manasota, Peace River, Pinellas-Anclote River, Northwest Hillsborough and Withlacoochee River Basin Boards, as well as the following: cities of Bradenton, North Port, Sarasota, Venice, Hillsborough County Water Department, Manatee County, Peace River/Manasota Regional Water Supply Authority, Pinellas County Utilities, Progress Energy, Sarasota County, Tampa Water Department and Town of Longboat Key.
