Micro-irrigation, commonly referred to as “drip” or “low-volume” irrigation, emits a lower volume of water compared to traditional sprinkler heads. Micro-irrigation delivers water directly to plant roots and is recommended for plant bed areas or potted plants, as they require less water than turfgrass.
