WMIS is a multiphased initiative that is scheduled to be completed by 2010. Each phase will be rolled out as it becomes available to improve the District’s service to the public.
Water Management Information System (WMIS) will:
- Increase the amount of available information online
- Facilitate online permitting and processing
- Streamline workflow
- Store and retrieve District data
- Capture and track compliance activities

- Apply for well construction permits and completion reports
- Extend well construction permits
- Renew your water well contractor’s license and agricultural small general water use permit
- Search for water use permit and well construction permit information
Available October 2008
- Renew small general and general water use permits
- Apply for new small general and general water use permits
- Modify small general or general water use permits
- Transfer ownership of small general or general water use permits
- Reply to electronic requests for additional information or clarification letters
- Request online noticing of water use permits for applications received and final agency action
