Healthy Water, Healthy People is an innovative, hands-on approach to understanding water quality sponsored by National Project WET.
What is the Healthy Water, Healthy People program?
A comprehensive water quality education program designed to make the complex topics of water quality relevant and meaningful for all with hands-on interactive activities and lessons. The program covers environmental health and human health topics and is sponsored by National Project WET.
Who can get Healthy Water, Healthy People?
Upper elementary and secondary classroom teachers in public and private schools, pre-service teachers, resource agency educators, youth organization leaders, state and national park rangers/interpreters, museum and nature center instructors, watershed/lake monitoring groups and leaders, drinking water and wastewater operators and educators, natural resource managers, scientists, home educators and citizens.
How do you get Healthy Water, Healthy People?
Attend a workshop with a minimum of six contact hours of training.
