Data & Maps offers links to general maps and specialized geographic and hydrologic data.

A map-viewer interface displays general map information online. Professional GIS* users may access the District’s specialized database of mapping layers and imagery available for download.

Hydrologic data is provided in various file formats. User-customized queries display tabular and plotted reports on a wide array of water resource topics, including rainfall, water levels and more.

Request a data collection site ID (email link)

If the District is contributing funding to your project that requires water-quality data collection, you'll need to request unique site identification numbers for all sample sites.

A comprehensive source for public supply service area population estimation information. Brings together all the resources necessary to help generate and accurately estimate the population of a service area.

The GIS database is a specialized database tool for storing, manipulating and mapping geographic and hydrologic information that supports our planning, environmental and regulatory activities.

Review soil types, land uses and five-foot contours for a specific area.

GIS District lands map viewer

Locate District-owned lands: proposed, acquired, fee or less-than-fee.

Historical hydrologic data (see FAQ for help)

Historical water-level data for groundwater wells, flowing and static water sites, and daily rainfall.

Rainfall summary data

Average rainfall totals by time period and selected geographic area from 1915 to present.

Real-time hydrologic data

Real-time rainfall data, surface and groundwater levels, and selected atmospheric readings within our 16-county area.

Structure status and hydrographs of select water bodies.

Survey control

A collection of benchmark and control data sheets established by the District and others searchable by Section, Township and Range.

USGS hydrologic data

Data for wells, lakes, springs and streams in a variety of formats.

Watershed management program

This program evaluates a watershed’s capacity to protect, enhance and restore water quality and natural systems, as well as achieve flood protection. Floodplain data has been developed for watersheds in the District and can be interactively viewed using our floodplain map viewer.
